Dear Friends,

As we mark Giving Tuesday, we wanted to take a moment to reconnect and share a personal update. You may have noticed that we’ve been quieter than usual over the past few months. The truth is, we had to temporarily step back as this year has been one of the most difficult chapters in our ongoing journey to grow our family.

For over seven years, we’ve faced more than 10 failed IVF cycles, three miscarriages, and overwhelming medical expenses totaling well into the six figures. Then, earlier this year, just as we thought we’d finally achieved our dream, we experienced a traumatic pregnancy loss that required emergency surgery for Emma—a moment that shook us deeply and led us to pause and focus on healing.

We’re sharing this, not for sympathy, but because our story fuels our unwavering commitment to this cause. Despite all of the challenges, we remain steadfast in our mission to support military families navigating their own difficult roads of infertility. Operation Baby has already helped 33 families, and we’re determined to support even more through our next grant cycle, which will begin again in January.

We are proud to recognize our veteran community and welcome them as eligible candidates for our annual grant program, which will begin receiving applications again in January 2024. EXCITING NEWS! This November, we are thrilled to announce a new campaign in partnership with @hundredx_causes to kick off fundraising for our 2024 grant season. This program allows us to raise crucial funds from our supporters without anyone having to open their wallets.

Instead, we’re asking our supporters for a little bit of their time to complete simple surveys about brands and services you use in your daily life; for each survey completed, Operation Baby receives a monetary contribution from HundredX. Each individual who participates can do up to 75 surveys, resulting in about $120 for our organization. Make sure you are signed up for our emails and be on the lookout November 1st for more information on how to get started.

Each year we say, we couldn’t do any of this without you - and it’s true! Thank you for your continued support of Operation Baby and our military and veteran community.
